It's not "Practice makes it perfect." It's "Perfect practice makes it perfect."

Diet videos that I've been worshipping for the past few months-years. I swear by everything that they work and tone those targeted areas. If you're trying to lose some weight by July & August - in my case, for my August Bahamas trip, give these a try.

You'll definitely lose weight if you..
1. Watch your diet a bit more than usual (like, cut ranch and go with vinaigrette on your salad or eat one less bowl of rice or something). More fruits and veggies. Cut the junk if you can, but a chocolate once in a while doesn't hurt.

2. Get enough sleep. Enough said.

3. Brush up on your beauty. Beautiful skin, nails, hair, etc. makes you feel better and encourages you to reach that goal you're wanting to achieve. Being a couch potato and feeling "yucky" with your hygiene definitely do not motivate you to get on that treadmill. If anything, you're just more jealous of those Victoria Secret models and wish you had that magical power to shed pounds instantly. Reality check is needed!

4. Be proactive. I know it's summer break for a lot of college students, and if you don't exactly have a plan like studying abroad or doing anything exciting, you're most likely staying on the couch all day on the internet or TV. But, try to be at least a bit more active and encourage yourself to get up to do something. It'll make you feel better. I promise.

5. Take a walk around your neighborhood after dinner. Summer's the perfect time to do this because it's probably still light outside after your dinner. It's a good way for you to make yourself feel better after possibly overeating. Take your ipod with you if you want.

6. Clean your room. If you're a lazy bum like me, your room is probably not the cleanest thing. Take a day to clean it. There's a sense of accomplishment, and you'll put yourself on a roll. Next thing you know it, you'll be treading that elliptical.

7. Do these exercise videos. They don't take that long. You don't have to do all of them at once. Spread them out during the day. But if you do them at night, you'll wake up with a flatter stomach ;)

Remember - these are more of advises for changing your lifestyle. If you're serious about shedding those pounds and keeping it that way, you have to start living the way you want to feel. It can't be temporary. It's not easy, but it's all worth it in the end when you're rocking that body-hugging dress at the club.

Post-2nd Year Mini-Haul

Is it true that your blog can tell a lot about your personality? I guess it's a stupid question, but I guess what I'm asking is whether the personality you put on your blog a true reflection of real you. Sometimes people do like to make up a whole different persona on the web. Just a thought.

Here's to end of my sophomore year. To summarize it - it was uneventful, but relaxing. I guess the only thing I do regret not doing is...well nothing. lol. Last week I went shopping to de-stress myself from all of the cramming I had to do. I needed to find shoes for my Florida vacation in August. I wanted to check out the Target shoes that people were raving about. I guess when I'm in the mood for shopping, I don't realize how unfit it is for me until few days later when it's in my possession, and I don't wear it. I'm probably going to return both of them so I can continue looking for my perfect summer wedges.

My summer class starts next week. What should you recommend doing during the summer so there's somewhat of productivity?
