Excitement Calls for New Clothes and Attitude

This was one of the better, more exciting weekends I've had in a while. My big from the sorority suddenly decided to make us go on a road trip to nova to party with bunch of Asians. I wouldn't have had trouble with it if it wasn't for the fact that I had already promised to take my British roommate who just came on Thursday to an American party lol. So, she pursues to persuade the two British people to come on the 2 hour road trip. At first they agreed, but I guess they didn't really want to and so declined later. I was bit relieved because it'd be awkward dragging 2 white people to a club full of short Asians haha.

After the club scene, we headed to a Korean BBQ place and headed home at 4:30am. Got back at 6am and passed the fuck out. Then, I woke up at 10am to head to a beach 2 hours away. It was only supposed to be 1.5hours away, but we got off of the right road and ended up doubling our trip only to end up washing one car and heading back home l
ol. Then, I took the British people to my friend's house party. I dd'ed and chilled so it was pretty nice. On Sunday, I went to see my friend who came back from her summer school. All of us were tired, but we still managed to have fun haha

I'm really looking forward to the rest of the summer because I'll actually be doing something like interning, shadowing, going to NY for indies concert volunteer, Boston trip with close friends, DC for party, Toroto for more parties, and Disney/Bahamas with the fam. Yeah, I have a feeling that I'd be a broke ass by the end of the summer, but hey, you only
get to live once.

Here's some shopping that I've been doing these past few days (including JUST NOW lol).

ASOS cream tank ($15~) I usually don't pay this much for a tank, but I liked the cut. It'd be perfectly matched with bandeaus for my summer trips :)

ASOS cream chiffon top ($18~) I'm into lighter colors now. Summer babyyyy

ASOS cream chiffon dress with bangled cuff ($25~) I'm really excited for this. I just hope it's not one of those hit or miss type of thing. Fingers crossed!

ASOS stripy canvas cluth ($21~) I really liked the simplicity and how I'd be able to wear it casually. Plus it looks pretty roomy for my stuff.

Solia Flat Iron ($55~) I've been contemplating on getting a chi, solia, or sedu for a while, but I finally decided to go with this one after reading that sedu and solia are better and chi and solia is cheaper because sedu's just got more celeb endorsement. After the sale on folica.com, I jumped to get my first ceramic flat iron. Reviews will be given soon :) They're still having a sale on folia.com too (enter sunshine at your checkout to receive $25 off of $75 and free shipping, ends Wednesday!)

Last week or so I saw that Walgreen website was having $7 off of their Physicians Formula stock so I took the chance and bought some blush and powder as well as eyeliners from other brands. Reviews will be coming up!

Happy Monday everyone! :)

Post-2nd Year Mini-Haul

Is it true that your blog can tell a lot about your personality? I guess it's a stupid question, but I guess what I'm asking is whether the personality you put on your blog a true reflection of real you. Sometimes people do like to make up a whole different persona on the web. Just a thought.

Here's to end of my sophomore year. To summarize it - it was uneventful, but relaxing. I guess the only thing I do regret not doing is...well nothing. lol. Last week I went shopping to de-stress myself from all of the cramming I had to do. I needed to find shoes for my Florida vacation in August. I wanted to check out the Target shoes that people were raving about. I guess when I'm in the mood for shopping, I don't realize how unfit it is for me until few days later when it's in my possession, and I don't wear it. I'm probably going to return both of them so I can continue looking for my perfect summer wedges.

My summer class starts next week. What should you recommend doing during the summer so there's somewhat of productivity?

forever21 dress ($13.50); belt ($7.80)

charlotte russe dresses ($20 each)

target shoes ($25)

target shoes ($20)

charlotte russe rings ($2 each)

jessica simpson boots ($39)

Simplicity at its Best.

I found an old post that I never got to post. Reading all of the fun blogs made me realize that I need to start blogging again. There's a logic that I don't preach but we'll see if there's a cause-and-effect - if you want to blog, you will do fun things so you can blog about it. LOL. Time to bring my Nikon d3100 to a good use.

The title has nothing to do with what I'm gonna about to post. lol.

This should've been the appropriate blog title --> BLOGGING TAKES FREAKING TIME.

But, I wanted to sugar-coat the harsh reality, and the other title just popped in my mind.

I didn't realize that the last time I blogged was almost a month and a half ago. It's been so long. I guess I was preoccupied with my couch-potato life, class, and school stuff. By the way, I GOT A IN PHYSICS! Okay, I just had to document that. You know you're worried about one thing during a certain moment? Then, after a month or a year, you look back, you realize how stupid/minimal the problem was? You look back, thinking, "Why did I even put an effort to WORRY about something that small?" It's not a bad thing. But, it's a reminder that we should take more look of the grandeur of life, instead of worrying about small things. Making ourselves feeling good is rather better than putting ourselves down, don't you think?

So, I've been a bum this whole summer because I didn't get a job. I just didn't feel like working. lol. It had a mix pros and cons. I had to ask for allowances again, which felt lame but I didn't have a source of income. But, I was able to focus on my summer class. Hey, everything works out in the end. Summer's almost here and so are my scholarships. haha.

Anyway, I'm gonna go over my few (okay, exaggeration) purchases from the summer. It'll take me a while to update, but I'll eventually get around to all of them. haha. My mom and I are huge shoppers (almost addicted), and we like to score the best deals out of everything. My mom's the type of person who gets $100 dress for $5. I'm proud to inherit her shopping genes. haha.

I LOVE DRESSES. PARTY DRESSES!!!

1. H&M Body Con Dress

Guess how much this dress was? $4.95!! It hugs my body perfectly. The material isn't the best, but for its price and design, IT'S A STEAL!

*found this pic on google - if you know who i can credit, let me know!

2. H&M Polka Dots Dress

3. Blue/Black Cocktail Dress

4. Blue Chiffon Dress

5. Blue Dress

6.

I'D STARVE MYSELF TO BUY SHOES

1. Steve Maddens Sandals

2. Timberland Sneakers

3. Black Gladiator Heels

4. White Ribboned Pumps

BAGS BAGS FREAKING BAGS

1. White Leather Bag

AND I BUY MORE ACCESSORIES

1. Lavender scarf

2. Bracelets

AND I WANT MORE

Right now asos.com is having a freeshipping. If it wasn't for the fact that I was bankrupt, I'd totally score myself those things.

I want summer to end soon so I can start dressing for the fall. I bought a lot of pretty dresses that would look cute on long haired girls, but sadly, I cut my hair shortly after that so I'm keeping them for next year. hehe.

I totally have a feeling that clogs are making their comeback. I hope they do cuz I got them ready :) They're comfy and so easy to just slip on. One bad thing is that it's hard to find the outfits to match them. What I recommend is choosing some light on the
top cuz clogs are heavy looking and already making a statement on its own. I do remember seeing someone rocking a maxi dress with brown clogs.

I wanna blog about how amazing Inception was and how amazingly hawt Joseph Gordon-Levitt looked, but I think it's overdone so I'm gonna skip it. We all know it's gonna be a classic.

Long Awaited Items. :)

After a series of threats on ASOS facebook website, I have finally received my package. lol. It was actually really surprisingly because there was no e-mail or notice that my items have even been shipped. Sadly, I didn't find my red bikini top in there so I'm not entirely happy with the whole thing. But, they did give a free shipping for my next order. Also, the flower dress and the corset top were too small. I couldn't even fit it around my boobs. lol. The pink dress, on the other hand, was rather too big. lol. Now, I know that I'm a perfect UK size 10. lol. Hopefully, my dieting will have a good result. lol. Also, I wasn't entirely happy with the red shorts. It's too transparent and lingerie-ish. lol. The material seems rather cheap. Oh, well, it was only $5. lol. Also, the Rihanna belt's pretty big too. I should've had more confidence in myself and ordered S/M. lol. Other than that, I'm happy with the rest of the purchase. I really love the bubble skirt and the bodysuit. It turned out that I really like the black dresses (including the checker one). I'm really happy about the quality of the tights too. They're so nice and comfy. :)

But, people quoted me on soompi. Actually, posting my real name. lol. I'm not too happy about that...D:

One more day...good bye, Spring Break, hello 1.5 months till Graduation. :)

So, yeah...spring break went by so fast. The NY trip was really fun. We stopped at Columbia first, then got to NYU. Then, to save some money, we walked from NYU to Bryant Park...which was roughly 30+ blocks. lol. That was really tiring, but it was a good exercise before we filled our empty stomach with great Japanese food. Then, I went bizzark with the Japanese bookstores. It was so fun. When we got to Boston, it was starting to rain. Ironically, we didn't take the (just-in-case) umbrella with us so we got drenched during the tour. Boston was beautiful, and I loved the architecture of the buildings. Unfortunately, I still can't find the camera cord....>_>;;

I went to Williamsburg Outlet today. I shopped so much. I was determined to get a Coach bag, but didn't despite the outrageous sale. lol. Instead, I shopped at Papaya. They had the cutest Asian style clothes. My friend, who is pretty picky, was content at the end of the day. I wish I could upload the pics, but, yet again, no camera cord...muuu...@_@;; I think I've done plenty of shopping for while. Hopefully, I can go back again. lol.

VCU all the way. lol. No more worries for money. haha XD

Oh, noes.

When the economy goes down, my inner shopaholicness comes out. lol. It's always been present, but it goes insane. On a school night, my mother and I head to Dillard's for 70% + 40% sale. Our credit card bill for this month is going to be crazy. lol.

But, I got myself the cutest Calvin Klein bag and addition 4 pairs of new shoes. lol. I'm going to take take one pair of shoes that I bought ($60) at Macy's so it evens out with the 4 pairs of shoes that I got today. lol. I will post pics later. XD Still no camera cord...>_>;;

7th Heaven

7 new pairs of shoes. Yes, I'm in disbelief myself. lol. My mom and I woke up at 8:30 in preparation for the 9AM sales. We went to two Macy's. Both had clearance + extra 30% off. I was going insane. lol. I was getting really tired of shopping by the end of the day when I had to leave for work. My feet are screaming right now. lol.

They're so adorable, however. I love each one of them as if they were my children. lol. XDDD However, I noticed that one of them were deformed. When I paid more attention, I realized one pair had 2 right shoes. D: OMFG, sales lady, what were you thinking? lol. OMFG, me, where was my brain? lol. This means I need to go back tomorrow and hopefully they'll have the leftie that I had left behind. lol (no pun intended). I got two sperries, michael kors, steve maddens, nine west, bcbg girl, and marc fisher. I'm so happy. It made my day which is to be ruined by Sunday in preparation for the devilish Monday. Grrr....

I took many pictures, but I still can't find the cord. D:

This is the one that I have to go find the left one for...It's so soft inside. I really want it....

I love Shopping

O Shopping, why art thou so lovely? lol. XD
I went shopping today after spending an hour at my sister's Chinese School New Year Celebration. :) I went to see Benjamin Button yesterday, but I'll post the review sometime later. XD It's a must-see though. I was bawling the whole entire time. lol.

2 coats. Original Price $225 and $295 reduced to $120 together. There was 70% off, and we had a coupon for additional 20% off. That is something. lol. XD They look so good too~ and warm~ XDDD I'm so happy.

I couldn't find the pic for the Guess one, but I found the Miss Sixty one. It's the grey one.

A girl can never shop too much. :)

OMG. I woke up at 10 and went shopping at 12...came home at 9:30, wearing heels for the entire day. lol. It was seriously exhausting, but fun. lol. My mom thought that she had lost her credit card, and I was getting pissed b/c the person on the line kept not wanting to freeze our account for some stupid reason. I started yelling at her, and she finally did it. I was going to punch her if she didn't. But that's another story. So, the rest of the night, I paid for our entire shopping spree. The little money I had in my checking's account perished within few hours. lol. I bought myself these amazing boots for $30 from Aldo that was originally $140. They had clearance + 50% additional + 5% (for a minor scratch). :D All's good. lol. XD And I also bought these amazing jeans for $10 too. The color and the fit are really cute. Hopefully, the milkshake that I gauged down at 10 won't really affect my weight. lol. XD That's it for today. :D Ciao. But I seriously crave Suede Flat Boots.

I want to be free.

VCU honors program application has hit me when I wasn't even paying attention. I was supposed to give my counselor 2 weeks notice, but they'll have to just suck it up because I only have 5 more days to complete my application. I just don't feel like writing any essay. I feel like shopping and reading manga and relaxing and not care about the world. But then again, there is the reality. I went to the H&M's buy one get one clearance sale. It was great. There wasn't much selection, but my mom was happy that she found something to buy. All's well. It was so hilarious today when I broke my sister's toy that my dad fixed with superglue. I tested it and then threw it on the ground (more like tossed), but then it broke again. My sister went bizark on me, but I have to admit, as much as I felt bad, that it was the most hilarious thing I've seen in the whole entire world. Mom and Dad thought it was funny too, but obviously, my sister didn't. lol. Oh, well, it can be fixed again. Tomorrow, school starts again, and there's another day of boredom. But, I do have my new clothes to satisfy me for the whole week. I just need to lose more weight. lol. Ciao.

October...so soon?

I can't believe that my 18th birthday is next week. So, I'm definitely doing a party this year...I think. As much as I want to have a party at my house, I'm rather reluctant because I know it'll be a mess afterwards. We'll see what happens, but it'll likely be a slutty dance party. I just need to know how to get my parents out of the house for the night. Hmmm...lol.
As for the first day of the fall break, I slept through till 2PM today. lol. I think that was actually good. haha. Talk about plenty of rest. lol. My mom decided to go out for dinner with her Restaurant.com coupon. It took us a while to find the restaurant since it was located in the middle of nowhere. To make the situation better, the restaurant wasn't going to open till 5Pm so we went there for nothing. My sister began to bawl, but I decided to stick with my diet and not go to a buffet instead. I should've been proud of my decision, but I knew I was doing that just to repent for the previous day's overstuffing. lol.
I went to the mall afterwards by myself to shop for myself and my friend's birthday gift. I couldn't be any more creative so I decided to get her some body cream and random Bath & Body gift. I love how they gift wrap for you.
I finally got a white artist blouse that I've been wanting forever. I got it at H&M. You got to love that store. I got another t-shirt for $5 so I'm proud. I also got a striped skirt with suspenders, but when I tried them again at home, I didn't like them so much so I might return them tomorrow (if I get to go shopping again - my mom's getting mad at the fact that I've been at the mall for three days in a row). I must admit...I'm shopaholic and I'm proud of to be one. lol. I also got this new fragrance at New York & Company. It's gardenia and smells pretty nice. I've decided to change my fragrance since my friends kept calling the enchanted orchid like a bathroom poupri (sp?) and old people. We'll see how this one goes. :) That's it for tonight.
